ALL you need now is an HTA86. Turn it up to 40psi and you got a beast on your hands! IMO the HTA86 only spools a few hundred rpm slower than what you have so no real loss in lowend power but HUGE torque and high rpm power gains. If it were mine i would try the S3's With the HTA86. With the S2's it will make soo much torque its crazy.. It would be nice to calm down the midrange hit of mine in favor of more power from 7000-8500rpm. In fact, if you wanna sell those S3's let me know.......

I wasn't aware a 2.3 can't rev as high as a 2.4? Doesn't seem to make sense

They are Evo 9 S3s otherwise they would be yours, though I may have a set of Evo 8 inbound before too long. I agree a bigger turbo would make this combo exactly like mine was on the 3586 with slightly smaller camshafts.

R/s ratio. A 2.3 can rev the same as a 2.4 since the the same 100mm stroke is in there. You can play with bearing clearances to make it happier, but the R/s gets you in the end. The increased sideloading besides being more friction is ultimately more wear and tear.

Its actually a funny thing my turbo of choice would have been the 3076HTA. So this works out good for me, i will end up sending this off to FP to have that conversion done.

One of my main goals with this car was to race it more(auto x/road race) so thats why i actually downgraded and left up to 50hp on the table going down from the S3's. And i have really no need for a 3586 super power levels for sure but not needed in my mind unless i was interested in drag racing or something.
Being that it is a 3076 makes it really on the high end of power levels with this turbo allready.
So im deff not done with this kit, im going to do some tweeks here and there and i would not be surprised for it to come close to 600.

Spool should be way faster on a 2.4 with MIVEC. I know I was seeing 30psi on the 3052 by 3600 rpm(2.0 in a galant vr4). Spencer can confirm as he has rode in the car on the street.

^^ are you seeing this spool on the street with your car?

Aaron was saying this car is a different beast on the street and the graph spool issue might be because of typical Dynojet load control anomaly.

Just drove this car home last night. Look like if I load it hard in 5th it could get full boost around 2800rpm but the turbo will surge. I would say a low rpm 3rd roll is full boost in the mid to low 3k range.

She feels pretty good.

I also cut your BOV spring down so it will be smother in mid throttle then before.

Very nice power for a GT3076
I think GT3076 HTA upgrade will do this car good, additional power without additional lag

Nice numbers!!!............... I was gonna verify that it was a 3076R ball bearing turbo, but I can see that it already was....

Had I kept it, I definitely would have gone through English Racing

UVAMBO, shoot me a PM if you have any questions about the history of the vehicle.
