Here's 3rd and 4th. Ive got 26" QTP's for the track. Have to see what it does then and there, especially once I put the car on a diet. Interior is staying 100%, but Im going to try to drop an additional 100ish lbs off the car. It weighs 3120 now by itself with a full tank of gas.

the 3rd looks really lazy downlow, but at the track that wont matter.

looks good though.. i really like your engine bay.. i remember seeing pics of it before in the engine bay thread.

Thanks man! Meh it certainly doesnt feel too lazy. There is more room to work with down low, Aaron prefers to get the car on a dyno to work on that.

On the dyno 3rd is useless above 650whp normally and I would presume the street is the same to an extent. Pull is too fast to get good data, boost doesnt ramp up vs load the same, wheelspin etc. We used 4th for a reason, the tune is no different in 3rd as far as timing and AFR though. I am going to mod a MIVEC gear and send it out to get a little more response down low. I think the EF4 in this combination has more in it both in response and some top end.

I just remember my car had a 65whp difference between 3rd and 4th with no changes to the tune. Really makes me wish I had dyno'd the 86 in 4th now

Anywho, the car goes like stink and thats what matters

if you factor in the bigger s3 cams and the laggier spooling turbo, it does pretty good in 3rd also yes. the only area it lacks is under 5k.. which doesn't even matter at the drag strip lol. you should bring it to cecil with me, they will let you go over 130 without a boot with no cage.

3rd is about a 5 second pull on the street according to my log here, maybe lower on this car due to the turbos a little laggier then a black, but ya i agree it looks good.

id be in for more info on the mivec gear, is it the one you documented on here before?
