I was thinking of going to Tial 50mm, but don't want the hesitation or stalls. What are your plans?

I'm not going to SD anytime soon. My plan is to just let Tom give it the magic touch. I changed alot of major parts at one time and the tune needs some serious tweaking to make it all work together again.

It don't stall, never said it did.

Geeze, has an VIII turbo ever hit 400whp on pump? If you did a Curt Brown IM and EM port or equivalent you'd be right there if not a decent amount over. I'm sure this thing is a blast.

the mods really changed this car a lot.. its a good example of how bolt ons really play the most important roll in a setup.

also i went aggressive on this tq curve because thats what he asked for.. typically i would keep the torque down a bit more.. but he wanted all or nothing lol.

yes a few of them have. just need to have all the bolt ons to make it possible and good 93. i think in PA you could do it on our 93 at sunoco. also its a 10.5 8 turbo. (05)

Nice!

Supposedly Exxon 93 is just as good as Sunoco 93, for future reference. Have you ever tried the Exxon 93 in comparison?

I haven't. Most pumps around us i think have 10% ethanol content, so it makes the gas pretty knock resistant.

I have been filling up with nothing but e85 though for the last 2 years in my personal evo, so i can't really give any good valuable information in regards to 93.

I think most my customers use Shell and BP though.

I have put Exxon 93 in my car once and it ran like ****. We don't have any out my way, but I was in the part of the state where they did and it was misurable driving. That is not to say that they have bad gas, maybe it was just something the car didn't like. I usually put Sunoco 93 in the car when I do run pump gas. I do go a week or 2 when I do switch gas's so I know it wasn't just a mix of gas. All I know is I wont be putting it in the car again.

I have both Shell and BP around me and my car will run better one BP then on Shell but if I have the choice Sunoco all the way. Gives me the least headaches for whatever reason.

I have been filling up with Shell most of the time with the occasional Sunoco stop depending on where I am. BP was garbage in my car.

Did I read that right: on his previous tune (before tscomp) with cams, injectors, and a fuel pump, he was only getting 280whp/240wtq (since he gained +60hp/100tq)?

I didn't have a previous tune. TSComp was the first. The first go around with the cams, injectors, fuel pump, etc.. It gained +60 hp/100tq

And then the second tune after the FMIC, pipes,Tial, O2 dump, etc.. it gained approx. another 40hp/50tq and ended up around 380whp/390tq.
