TSCOMPTUNED Evo VIII Stock block/turbo on Pump.
Back in April I did my 60K service, installed some parts and then called upon Tom for the tune. Tom will have to post the VD graph, I lost all my files. Tom was great to work with and was very thorough ! We did around 18 pulls to wring it out.
The car already had a catless TBE, Cobb open intake filter before we started.
The mods when we started tuning were..
93 octane/ ECU boost tuned at 27PSI
TurboXS TBE catless
Cobb intake filter
PTE 780cc injectors
GSC S2 cams
BC springs
Walbro 255
MAC 35A solenoid
Adjusted waste gate
Everything else is stock, stock FMIC, stock pipes, plastic BOV, etc..lol
When the dust settled, we finished right around 340HP/340TQ and gained approx. 60 WHP and 100 WTQ ! I wanted more but Tom had to shut me down. The car would not take any more timing or boost without knockin or EGT getting too hot'. The car drives awesome and pulls like a train ! I couldn't be happier !
Edit 10/4/12,
New parts are installed and the new tune is finished.
ETS 3.5" FMIC
ETS short route upper pipe
Tial Q
Muse lower pipe
Map O2 dump
Fabbed metal intake pipe
Tuned @ 28 psi on 93 octane
Car pulls hard and is a blast to drive! It can be a little finicky at slow speeds running the Tial Q with the MAF but I can deal with it until I upgrade turbos and switch to SD. No big deal, It loves to be driven fast and hard...the way it should.
Here are the new numbers...

great #'s
get rid of that plastic bov & you'll pick up boost response & peak power.....Even a metal evo9 bov will help..At least thats what happened when i did so with my plastic bov back in the day.

Just a little update... I got the FMIC, piping, Tial, and intake pipe installed. Whada difference..lol The OEM FMIC was so beat up when I removed it, It couldn't have been flowing much air through it..
The IC pipes at the FMIC connection were so corroded, I'm surprised they weren't leaking.. or maybe they were..
As Aby said, boost response was unbeelievable and peaked prolly 3-4 psi higher. I assume because everything is so much more efficient, It builds boost at a much faster rate and peaks higher..I will say, driving with the Tial is a whole new animal..It likes to either be on or off !
Still have a bunch things to do.. everyone likes to see pics so here is a few.. The catch can is just mocked up, don't think it's the final location. That will be plumbed with -10 hose and fittings out the valve cover that will be refinished. Also have -4 hose and fittings for the Tial.. Need the de-junk the intake mani, reroute some things, etc, etc...
New results coming soon !

The 3-4 psi increase is from getting rid of that P.O.S. stock plastic diverter valve. Those things leak boost like crazy! I had the same thing when I swapped to a metal IX DV. Had to turn the boost down.
Any updates on HP/TQ since the installation of the new mods?

good job on going with a tial BOV. they are a badass bov. make sure you have the right spring in there and its not floating idling though.
And yes Jorge is correct. the plastic BOV is junk lol.. probably leaked at idle haha.
The FMIC will help greatly as well as im sure you already felt. make sure AFR is good after FMIC though.. they will really alter AFR most the time.
get rid of all the emission crap and plug it off.
also do something about the EGT wire across the valve cover lol.

Unfortunately, no results yet. Im sure Tom is as busy as me...lol Yea, the BOV response is crazy fast, any kind of hesitation on the throttle and it will open..takes a little bit gettin used to. Have to drive the car a little different..lol I dropped down to the 8# spring and it is stayin shut at idle.
That POS plastic junk held 28 psi in 4th and 5th gears...LOL
As for the AFR.. it definitely needs some work after the changes. I wont discuss the that here though. Hopefully I can get that O2 dump installed soon so we can start doin some pulls and get it sorted.
Oh yea, that EGT wire will be re routed...LOL

The only real side effect that im seeing is that the afr swings rich for a moment when it opens. Obviously because the air (and its alot) is not being put back into the intake. It will want to bog out every once in a while if im coming to a stop and getting caught in traffic is kind of tough right now until it gets retuned. Other then that, the car runs fine. I think most of the problems people have is that they got the wrong spring in there.
No fist fights yet..lol
