Wheatley's Magnus LR2.4 6262 Mustang Dyno

I took the car to get final tuned by Adam Blevins on Auto Motions Mustang dyno. I only really care about track times but figured I would share the results. I was really pleased how the car performed and how well it worked all day. We ran the car pretty rich since cylinder 4 plug looked leaner than the other three and does at cruising and wot. I plan to have the injectors tested and see if they are causing the issue, they are brand new FIC 2150s so we will see.

Fathouse Fabrications FF pte 6262 dbb with vband turbine housing
Magnus 2.4 LR 10.5:1 cr
HeadGames fully ported head/kiggly springs/ferrea stock size valves
GSC s3's
AMS F1 intake manifold
4" ETS fmic/2.5" piping
3" exhaust
4.11 FD

First full pulls were made at 33 psi and it made 720hp and 58xtq. We turned the boost up 2 psi, hp stayed the same but tq went up to 619. Adam added timing with no hp gain but an addition 10ft lbs of tq. Not wanting to push the car too hard we ended up removing the additional timing back to where it was when it made 720/619. This is weather corrected numbers, it was 80 degrees outside with 81% humidity. IAT were 127 during the pulls, usually cruising they stay low 100s avg.

Both uncorrected and corrected numbers show below. I forgot to snap a pic of the plot with timing back down.

The car was pulling smoothly, I think I'm pretty happy with the combination but won't know for sure until it goes down the track.

Incredible spool, mang. Proves to me yet again that the S3s are really working down low. That's absolutely sick.

When do you hit full boost?

Seeing 20psi by 4350rpm without really trying to tease it to spool quicker. Good job to all involved. Was a pleasure tuning this beast! Its going to be a ton of fun out on the streets where this car was built to drive!

I debated that as well since I had s2s before. The one person who has always been right about cams to me was aaron at er. He was right about the s2 over the kelfords in my 2.0 and was dead on about how well the s3 work. The kelfords were decent but I like a very smooth feeling car, minimal lope and good power. The two sets of gsc have delivered everything I want.

By the way anyone lookin for some low mileage s2's I have a set for sale. Just hadn't had time to create a thread.

Just and FYI, I sold my S2s in literally under 5 minutes on Friday, so as soon as you make a for sale ad they'll be gone .

Woot! I had a mini shoot with a buddy of mine a little while back. We have some more to do still but I will post some pics once he's done with them. I don't know how many of you do the Instagram thing but I'm on there. That's my primary method of sharing anything car/gun/cool **** related. mwheats is my name.
