DD bolt-on Evo 8 tune!

Got my car tuned the other week at ECS here in CT on their mustang dyno. Played it a bit conservative w/ lower timing @ 22 psi considering my car has 120k all original.

Mods :

Full TBE
Injen CAI
Buschur Deluxe 3.5 FMIC
Hallman MBC
FIC 750cc injectors
Walbro 255 FP

I like it. Should be quite fun for getting on and off ramps. On 93?

Nice numbers... 8 or 8.5 turbo?

I have very similar mods, but I'm also running Kelford 272s. You would enjoy adding those to your setup. See where you only have about 400rpms of peak power? Toss those Kelfords in and you'll have ~1500rpms of peak power.

It's the 8 turbo. You must've read my mind....I was planning on doing the cams next year, either Kelford 272's or GSC 2. I'm looking to take it as far as I can with the stock turbo.

Maybe bolt on a stock 9 turbo make it a little even more better

I was going to say the exact thing. 8's fall on their face after so much.

Oh and e85 would be awesome if you have convenient access to it. You have the pump, maybe add a little more injector, and you'll have easy power.

I can't speak for the S2's, but I'm very happy with the Kelfords. I did dual-springs, retainers, clips, etc at the same time.

As where I used to have like 300rpms of peak power, I now have over 1600rpms of peak power. My peak power carries clear into 7000rpm.

Eh, I don't know of any e85 places around me. The 9 turbo was an option as well....I'll be looking at a few setups and determine what will best meet my goals. If I could score a nice 9 turbo for a good price, then hey, why not!

Looks good. The Evo 9 turbo and cams would do great for that. Im actually working on a similar project. I got the 9 turbo but im gonna get cams after i save up from this stage of the upgrades. Prolly next year. Cant wait.

This statement is incorrect. When I was at 280whp I picked up ~20whp from my CBRD intercooler.

The Buschur core that the OP is running will have negligible pressure loss. Often times, when upgrading to a thicker intercooler, the IC pipes are also upgraded to smoother flowing, more efficient pipes which can increase spool over the factory IC pipes and setup.

And even if spool was affected by a few RPM's, the increased power levels from the intercooler would offset the slight lag for most people.
