I would look into a GT55-91
Then I would move this thread to the turbo section.

What kind of power are you looking to make? Mostly for drag then rather than a daily? I would run Pte 6466 for a strict drag setup with supporting bolt ons of course but I feel the 6466 will be a bit laggy if you want to DD you could always go FP HTA 3586 and do a little of both all what you prefer just my opinion.

6466 is a great turbo if you dont mind a tad more lag then the 6266. 6466 is a mid range 37R id say.
if its mostly a street car a 3586R is a really good turbo for spool and top end. that is more along the lines of a 6266 with quicker spool
if you go with Garrett, only get FP stuff (hta). id recommend the tial vband as well.
if precision, stay with vband also. get nothing smaller then 0.80~ AR or it will sacrifice top end.

what are you recomend for the tranfer, diff, and gearboks (my car evo8 mr 6speed) if iwould use lunch for start at dragrace...
can standar ecu with reflash boost over 36psi ?
can pt6262 ar .82 bb vband, defeat the gtx3582r ? cause my rival use this turbo, i will meet at 1/8miles... ?

Pt6262CEAs are rated at 705whp Originally Posted by eus_evo8MR

If your doing mostly 1/8th you may want to find something a bit less laggy
Transfer case, diff, tranny ect you could pay to have them shipped here to say Sheps Transmission or TRE probably pretty costly, but I would at the very least ditch that MR 6 spd and go for a 5spd swap.

stock ecu can boost as high as it needs to boost. there is no limitations there.Originally Posted by eus_evo8MR

the only way you can get 650whp easy is if you have supporting mods that will allow the turbo to make that power with your setup. you cant just bolt a big turbo up to your car and make big power.. the bolt on parts are just as important as the turbo itself.
shep trans, shep tcase, etc.. or anything that is solid and will hold up. these cars hold up pretty well when you launch them properly and slip the clutch and preload the drivetrain.

6262 is more comparable to a 3586R imo.. therefore yes it will. I would be looking at the 6266 not the 6262.

that turbo will make around 800 on a dynojet with good bolt ons with lots of boost. some setups can pass 800 with it.Originally Posted by projektevo9

lag is overrated. especially at the drag strip. that turbos perfect for the track no matter if its just 1/8 or not. it will focus on his powerband being used at the strip quite well. remember cars that are quick/fast in the 1/4 are also quick/fast in the 1/8.

Interesting because I'm looking into those as well. Well mostly the 6262 and 6266.
