Evo 9 - TAK33rb, CBRD custom parts, self tuned on speed density

Hey guys my name is Grant, just wanted to share my latest build Just finished tuning it tonight on speed density, 93 oct.




Engine -Stock block/head
TAK33rb turbo setup off of CBRD's Time Attack car
Swain coated JM Fabrications v band manifold
CBRD custom recirculated o2 housing/Tial 44mm
CBRD custom 3.5" aluminum exhaust
JM Fabrications race intake manifold/Buschur 65mm tb
Kelford 272 cams, FP beehive springs, ARP head studs
Walbro 255-modded, FIC 1250cc injectors, Fuelab mini FPR
ETS 3.5” Garrett intercooler
Reworked ETS upper intercooler pipe/Synapse Synchronic diverter valve
House of Power custom lower intercooler pipe
House of Power custom catch can with -6an lines/custom balance shaft vent
House of Power custom trunk mounted mini battery
House of Power custom intake

Drivetrain:
Shep Trans ultimate ratio transmission
Exedy Twin HD clutch/STM stainless clutch line
Buschur front engine mount
Solid aluminum driveshaft and shifter bushings
Energy suspension rear diff bushing kit

Nice setup, looks to want to keep making power past 8K.

How do you have the balance shaft vent setup and what fittings were used?

The TAK33r was a turbo I heard about while I was in Iraq in 2008. Great to see that it is still alive and doing well. Great looking engine bay!

Thanks guys!

B.J.-Very soon. I have to make the passes count because I will get booted after the second one. Guessing it will do mid to high 10's on slicks.

p.s. I'm rocking the toxicfab cam sensor shield under that gold foil

Grant, come to Cecil with me, I went last Wednesday , drove 2 hours and went strait to the line and ran multiple 10sec passes and didnt get booted!

Will wtf? i get yelled at for going 11.4 and they let you go 10's? lol. must be because of the car you're doing it in lol. the gtr?

Lol! Yeah I had flip flops, shorts, and a dirt bike helmet from 1995! Lmao! Tech guy said I'll let you slide with the helmet cause you need a snell 2005 or better helmet!

Grant, car is looking good man! Congrats! Yeah, yeah, I guess cbrd makes some good parts also. lol!

I always get booted from Cecil too. I've tried Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays too, always 2 runs and done.
