Evo 8 Pulse racing Tune - 192.2kw

Hi Guys,

Would like to share with you my results from my Dyno Tune Yesterday. This is the completion of my "stage 1" modifications. Prior to the Tune, I had a problem with the stock DV and the car had a boost leak.

Current mods include;

- Custom Dump pipe to 2.5" exhaust, opening to 2.75" (ralliart system)
- HKS panel filter
- Silicone Intake pipe
- Boost increased to 22psi
- Custom map tune.
- Pump 98 octane

My next wave of mods will include to hopefully net my 250-300awkw goal

- cams
- Fuel train modifications
- Turbo
- IC piping

Feel free to input or offer advise/feedback

nice spool up and the curve looks good. I think there is about 30 hp left on the table tho.

Final goal is 400awkw (~550awhp)

But that's going to need a whole engine build so it will be down the track.

I would think so too - I was hoping for the 200-205kw mark, but I am happy with the results - Much better than what it was before. Where do you think this gain can be made though?

If shooting there then start prepping the car for that power.

What fuel will you be using to make the power?

Just buy smart so that you will not have to redo a lot of things i know from my own experience and it sucks.

I'll be using standard 98 pump fuel here in AU.

and I second that comment, I intend to do thorough research before I buy each product. particularly when I am done with the bolt on's.

On another note, I did some data logging for some casual everyday driving, and I seem to be getting some occasional knocksum. E.G from 26500 log entries, I have 226 entries with Knock ranging from 1-3. Might have to track this down.

Consider running e85.

Get some injectors (I reccomend ID2000's) + upgrade fuel pump + 3-port. Then retune to around 24psi for 98RON fuel and try to push 26psi on e85.

With just those simple mods, you will be headbutting 230-240kW on e85.
