thinking of taking my car to Buschur for a tune.
^^^ that and the OP wont have to spend like 250- 300 bucks round trip in gas alone. so insteead of spending 400-500 bucks on a tune you are really spending close to 800 to get your car tuned.
worst 48 hours ever. took my car to buschur to get it tuned he put it on the dyno and ultimately couldn't tune it. the ECU wasnt responding to his inputs for fuel trim and the voltage was all over the place. he didnt have time to trouble shoot the car because all of his employes were busy with builds (completely understandable i cant expect his people to drop what their doing to try and trouble shoot my car when their under deadlines to get cars finished) it was just a ****ty situation he gave me a tune that should be safe just to get me around then i put the car back on the trailer and came home.
now the car wont idle at cold start and my AFRs are way to lean so i cant drive the car. Im trying to track down the problem. just took off my hyperforce ignition amplifier hoping that will help.
wasted $1000 bucks for nothing 200 for a trailer 400 in gas and 400 for a tune that i cant drive on because my car has issues.

This is exactly the situation I was speaking of. Remote tunes have a place. Sorry to hear about your bad experience. If the tuner is close and there is an issue at least you didn't waste tons of time and money. But towing a car that far for a tune is nuts unless you know 100% it is mechanically sound.
Buschur still charged you 400 for the tune? I can't believe he would even do that given the car wasn't able to be tuned correctly. He should have just walked away from it or given you a quote to fix it before taking your money and leaving you now stranded.
TSCOMPTUNED is the way to go. Tom is the man for the job and will always help diagnose the car as he is tuning if there is a issue that pops up. He will spend as much time needed to get the car dialed in for idle, cruise, and WOT. He has the knowledge to make power safely and efficiently. Tom also has a very affordable pricing for the tunes and when you need a part can give you the best price for anything needed. He is a one stop shop for all your needs.

the worst part is i have no idea how to fix it or when it will be fixed i cant read the voltage my car is getting or the fuel trims all i can do is read AFRs.
and now im getting a P0069 code which i have no idea what thats from.
i guess i just take everything electric off the car and try to get it tuned again but i cant afford to waste another 1000...

Im not bad mouthing buschur he did what he could and when the car was on the dyno i saw the pull it was 11 AFR and 21 psi of boost on his screen in the dyno room.
its a manual boost controller so idk how boost went up to 25 but it did. and now AFRs are in 13s so im not driving the car. lowered the boost to 21 and still 13s afr.
i put it on the trailer and got it home as soon as i got it off the trailer it had issues, something is wrong and i need to find out what it is. im sure it wasnt running like this on the dyno its just not doing what the map on the ECU is asking
Personally, I think the best thing you can possibly do is learn how to tune it yourself. It takes some time and a lot of reading, but if you can connect with someone that will help you with the basics it's really not that hard once you understand it all. Probably the best money I ever spent on my Evo was on a bad tune because it gave me the incentive to learn how to tune it myself. I love not being at the mercy of these "Pro" tuners and I can swap out parts and make changes whenever I want.
