Evans just tuned a s300sx fmw (62mm) and it made 625whp I believe. On 30psi. Can't beat the turbo considering it's half the price retail of any precision or gtx.
I'm using a BW K31 with a 1bar spring. I made fulll boost at 5500 rpm in 3rd. However something is wrong with my setup presently. No boost

This is sort of off topic so I apologize in advance.

For the plexi-glass set up with the FF turbo, does it interfere with the turbo receiving enough air?

^ yea. id be tempted to put a 4" speaker port covered in a wire mesh in-front of the turbo - even if its just to check to see if there is any difference in spool/ topend.

I have seen some of the higher horsepower EVOs with front facing turbo set ups, run a mesh. "The Machine" that JMS runs is like this.

Trackforged makes a nice 4" turbo screen that is actually tough

I would still leave plexiglass in there for DD use

With the plexiglass there its defeating the whole purpose of the FF setup.

I made sure to go with a FF setup that allowed for an air filter just for that reason. I don't want to block off the turbos ability to take advantage of its new location, and I didn't want random hard objects getting sucked in the turbo chipping the fins or damaging the turbo either.

As long as the mesh protects the turbo where you're running the car i dont see it being an issue, but what happens if you're on the interstate and a piece of rock hits the mesh and goes through the screen? Thats why i prefer a full air filter. A air filter is more restrictive then a screen though in regards to airflow.

Should have been just a walbro 255 high pressure and modified. It was 93 octane fuel.

Did someone ask me to overlay something else over this graph or did i get everything requested? Based on what we have seen, this turbo responds like a 6466.
