minor upgrade

Q: what's the best option to upgrade my standard Evo IV, from 292 bhp to just over 300 bhp?

Thanks but as i am technically not the best... can i get more directions on how or what to tune. Chiptuning... or another exhaust or power filter. ..???

Start with

Evo 8 ecu to get tuned
Lower intercooler pipe ets v2 or muse
Evo 9 turbo
Evo 9 bov
Boost controler
Dowm pipe
(All jdm cars come with exhaust)

On e85 you are looking at 350 whp on 98 oct 310

Intake would leave for last

And camshaft for serious power gsc s2 or kelford 272 looking at 380-400 pump

Add walbro 255

And if running e85 at least 1000cc injectors

Tuning is modifying the tables in your engines computer (ECU). For tuning you will want a professional to take care of it. Look up performance/modification shops local to you to find out how much it will cost. Around here a full tune will set you back NZ$1000. Another option is to get in touch with the vendors the frequent this forum for a remote tune by email. Here are a few,

Mellon tuning
Tscomp tune
English racing
