Yeh, I guess it all depends on what the rev limit is on the 2.4. Even with a 4.11 he's going to have to shift into 5th to get a low to mid 9 second pass (assuming that the rev limit is 7,500 - 8,000). If it's on the stock final drive, well... Good luck lol

My car is mostly setup for drag and highway pulls and I don't want to lose that

Have you done any 2.1 4g64 builds/tunes ?
I have tuned a lot of 2.1's, but I've never built a 2.1 yet for anyone.

I've built 2.0L, 2.2 & 2.2LR, 2.3, and 2.4, and 2.4LR's.

2.1 is easy to build. Basically, if you built one engine you can build them all. Some of them require some additional nonsense like bearing chamfering and excessive rod side clearancing and so forth, it really depends on what brands you mix & match and so forth.

1/4 goal for this car is 150mph. I have no idea what it is capable at 32psi we will find out soon.

I dont know how to answer your question about the 2.4. RPM shouldnt be an issue with the 4.11 or 4.0 and a tall tire like 26"

Well when my cars at the drag strip i use Hoosier QTP's with Rx7 wheels like a lot of people. Its 26" tall and with the 4.11 it will do 150 @ 8200RPM i think (not 100%).

I suppose a 2.1 does not really make any more power than a 2.0 with the same stroke and just has a slight ability to rev higher if need be. I guess I'll pick one based on if my block is useable after this season Lol

Looking forward to more progress on this !

I fixed the fueling issue and took the car out. You might think I'm an idiot based on how i reacted in this video, but i wanted to share my first impressions with the power its making for you guys.

The video is not very professional so i apologize in a business perspective point of view, but i was just having some fun on my own free time over the weekend after fixing a fueling issue.

The car however is not scary on the interstate. It was just that road making it feel scary. Either that or i got used to the car already in about 10 pulls haha.

Time to turn the boost up i guess huh. no not yet! I am going to run it down the track at this boost level to see what it does and go from there.

Thanks guys.

It is currently on stock tire size Bridgestone blizzak still. I used to have 255/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 and these hooked about the same almost on my 2.3 and fp black.

The only difference was, when these spin they make a squeal noise, vs the RE11 were quiet.
These are also noisier just driving around.

I have another set of wheels at my friends house with a new set of 245/45/17's Nitto 555's on evo 9 BBS. im sure they will help as well.

That was the whole idea of making that video to get the speedo shot. The sun ruined it. it looks to do 60-100 in about 2 seconds flat or slightly under.

Remember it has a 4.11 FD so i can really run through the speedo quick without gear changes.

Here's a modified video with lighting to show the needle more:

Those who said I had to replace the fuel tank were not joking. Thats exactly what I had to do.

so after i get better numbers ill make a fresh thread with no issues. but heres how the tank was:

A new tank has already been installed and stuff now. Out of all the things on the car the tank rusts. there is no rust anywhere else. Normally a tank is the last thing to rust.

The pumps I was getting the ethanol from before is now shutdown and out of order also. They said there is nothing that can be done though because my cars not a flex fuel car and it was my choice to use the fuel.

New tank that i installed:

So I just wanted to end this thread with a positive note.

Damn that's crappy ! Hopefully you get every thing straight on the car now. Can't wait to see final numbers.
I've been doing some street tuning with my 6466 on a stock motor. It reaches peak psi only about 400-500 rpm slower than my 35r but it pulls f*cking hard and keeps going. Amazing turbo
