It's in the shop right now getting a new hotside kit and turbine housing then will go immediately on the dyno for tune and numbers. I don't think my Exedy twin will hold nearly 800hp that yours is making.
Its pretty much the launching thats gonna kil it. I just had to rebuild the triple I have in mine the splines got completly ripped out of the hub on the flywheel disc the next day after the first dyno graph

I'm probably going to tell them to keep it to about 600 on mine, based on what you're saying, until I can put a heavier duty clutch in. That's crazy you broke the triple lol. Was it the dyno pulls that did it or did you go crazy launching it the day after lol

I can't speak for him, but I've revved to 9k with no problems on my 2.4. I read on another site the 2.4LR is good to rev to about 11k.

Damn I'm kinda surprised for even 9k. I thought max was 8.5ish for 2.4
If you don't mind me asking. how many miles on the build, revving to 9k?

8500 must be nice. Any plans taking it past 8500? What I'm trying to ask is what would be safe rev limit on this build since it's a long rod? 11k holy **** like mentioned aboved.

Lol if this setup becomes a solid revving to 9k or 9500rpm. We would only see 2.4 builds haha. Thanks for the input tho. I'm currently on a 2.0 and wanted to try out either 2.3 or 2.4 later trying up gather much info as possible.

I built the motor its balanced and everything is done right but Cory (mayhem tuning) and I both feel it best to keep it under 8500 rpm and Im also planning to upgrade the final drive so when that happens 8500 rpm will be plenty longevity is the key here

Couldn't agree more. Longevity is the answer, I was looking for sir. Looking forward to more updates and videos of this beast in action 👍

I've only gone over 8.5 just a handful of times, mostly when I was attempting some long distance pulls. Having not been on the dyno and not knowing exactly the powerband on my car, I tried to limit those 9k revs. Chassis has about 68k on it and probably less than 10k on the build. Hopefully will get my car back next week from shop and dyno and will know more about my powerband.
