Stock block Oldschool FP Green M2 cams E85

This car was tuned for one purpose only which was to get a trophy (1st place) in his max effort class. We did not get 1st due to forgetting to up the limiter on the first 1/4 pass it smacked the limiter and only managed 11.64 @ 117 in 1/4 due to that.

Due to that happening, he was not able to get 1st place because someone else was faster in the 1/4.

Car did great in the auto-x portion though still allowing it to take a trophy home.

Vehicle is out of fuel also. Injector duty cycle was in the 90%'s so we stopped.

Mods are:

Stock block & head
Old style FP green
Cosworth M2 cams
ETS 3.5" FMIC /w piping & intake
Buschur Turbo back exhaust
MAP 02 housing Dump
Grimmspeed 3 port boost controller
Tial Q blow off valve
Walbro 255 modded
Precision 1000CC injectors
Perrin Fuel rail
Tephra v7 Speed density /w ecuboost

Graph:

Few pics:

Ryan owns two Evos, and I tune them both. The red one is all mostly bone stock and is used for auto-x competitions that require stock everything. He has won that class as well a few times.

Do you feel that this Evo would have a better power-band with GSC S2 cams?

Why does the boost taper? Safety precaution?

Ryan did a great job driving this year and was some tough competition. I look forward to racing against him again next year. Car is making good power.

Turbo was falling off. Also we were very limited fuel wise. More boost makes more total fuel pressure, so already at 91% duty cycle I didn't try to push anything else out of it.

This car would pick up another 70whp as is with the newer style green 73HTA. (with proper fuel mods)

Well congratulations to you then. I know my customers car was setup pretty decent, even with hitting limiter he probably still wouldn't of won though. So the time in your sig is what you ran or are you faster/quicker now?

He really gave you good words when he spoke to me about the 1st place winner. He was very happy for you knowing you did all your own wrenching.
