Nice power! I only did 500whp/541tq on a md with a 2.3 on 36 pounds. A lot of boost leaks me thinks.

520 on a mustang dyno and only 122.5MPH traps, something seems off. I would've thought it would hit 130 in the 1/4. I made 509 on a DJ and trap 124 slow shifting a GTX35R. I'm pretty sure with NLTS I could gain 1-2 MPH.

Car will trap more...I was hitting the rev limiter well before the beams. I was on stock street tires. I'll be going to the track again on 26" drag radials.

Awe that makes perfect sense, I was thinking that was a very low MPH for the power

Haha true! But 11.2 @ 122 is pretty damn good! Banging those gears!

Why is the rev limiter so low? S3 make peak power around 8500 and with a 9k Redline you could have ran through the traps without hitting the rev limiter.

Car makes peak power at 7600, and rev limit is set to 8000. Don't get me wrong the car feels like it's making power pass 8000. I'll be bumping it to 8500. Boostin set the rev limit. I didn't ask why. Guess I should have

Another stock block here with S3's and I usually shift around 8300 and have ran 4th out to 8500-8700 in a roll racing event. No problems to report, I would raise the limiter and see if you can get into the 10's!

You can raise the limiter for 1/4 mile work. For road course stuff and general beating on the car, keep it below 8k. And I would only take it above 8k to extend 4th at the end of the 1/4...

my stock motor 550/385 hp car on a MD trapped 137. I am on a single 450 rewired

def need to bump redline . shifting at 8k 1-3 is still fine though

my 400/320hp setup on the same car same motor trapped 127

i can't believe a mustang dyno would read that much different. regardless, its a great ET for that trap
