need HELP!!!!! 2150 fic
I did take out the resistor box. I messaged Tom from tscomptuned and told him about my issue and he said he can fix the problem by retuning it so i am just waiting on him to let me kno when he is available. Thanks to everyone that gave me their input on the matter. Lets see what happns
Car left our shop on Saturday. It was tuning related and everything is 100% fixed now on the vehicle.
I video recorded fixing the bad rom to make it leaner hoping the other tuner would give some kind of partial refund, but he seems to want to blame the ecu still. (it wasn't just IPW related, this rom was extremely flawed in every way possible. Injectors scaled over 2000cc+, latency way out of operating range, RPM VE set to only "2" at idle, and list goes on and on.
Thankfully the owner didn't boost on this rom, or he wouldn't have a functional engine for much longer.
Thanks for letting us take care of you Jasdeep.
Now you can experience your car running the way it should of from the beginning.

Nice to see someone got him going, Tom. It's shame these "tuners" are out there and still taking people's money. At least certain shops just know that they just don't want to tune SD on the stock ECU and turn people away, as opposed to trying to blow a car up as in this case.

Glad you got everything sorted out! Enjoy the car now.
You can get the AFR pretty tight on the 2150cc / ID2000 injectors. I have some videos of my evo 8 idling on them where you can see there's no more then about a .4 swing off the top of my head once fully warmed up.
They can be made to idle at any AFR lean or rich in the evo, but preferred is 14.7 AFR. Overall a excellent injector for daily driving and making power.
The only thing i'll say is, they need pickled if you store the car for some periods of time with e85 in it. What I mean by pickled is, they need 93oct ran through them to help lubricate them from rusting since ethanol pulls in massive amounts of moisture/water and the internals of these injectors are not stainless and can rust.
If they are taken out of the car i would soak them in wd40 for storage as well.
If you plan on running race fuel I would avoid these injectors and go with a FIC 1650cc injector, since those internals are stainless + the seals will not swell up like the 2150cc do with race fuel.

So its been over a month or so and all i gotta say is Tom saved me from selling the car because i was tired of dumping money in it and still running like crap. I was extremely satisfied with Tscomptuned aka Tom. I would recommend anyone who wants good reliable power to deal with Tom. The car pulls really good and gets good mileage for example when i picked the car from Tom i took it to a long trip to north carolina and recorded the gas milage and i got 182 miles for half tank on highway withdoing a few hard pulls. He is really good at what he does and explains everything he is doing.
