I need ur opinion with FIC 2150

Hi.. i want to change mi injectors i have right now a PTE 1250 low imp but their gone to a better life so im going to buy a new ones and i dont know what injector are better... i read a lot of good things about FIC 2150, so my question is they are really good like all ppl say? they offer a good IDLE? are good for "daily drive"? The spending will be a good on these injectors or will be better buy the FIC 1100 high-z?

these are my mods:

2.0L
Wiseco 1400HD 9:1
Manley Turbo Tuff
6262 .82 Ball Bearing
Ported Head
272 HKS
Stock valve train
AMS VSR intake manifold
AEM 320lph in tank
Pump gas on 95oct
AEM V2

Sorry if me english is a little bad im from Venezuela.

I bought FIC 2150s for my setup as well. I bought them cause I read a lot of great things about them being able to idle well and are great for driveabilty. I havnt had mine tuned yet with the 2150s, but Tscomp, says he can get them to run great with the 2150 inj.

you're running AEM, so i'm just going to assume getting injectors to idle right is a little different for you than us on the stock ECU.

none the less, high Z 1100's are good, I'm currently running them. I am soon changing to the 2150's so I can try E85, and I am chosing them because of people i know with great results on the 2150's. It is not all hype. they are both good.

The 2150's are pretty nice to tune with...even on stock ECU but they would be a bit much for a daily driven pump gas car.

I have over 24k miles on a set, still look brand new when I pulled them to check for gunk a month or so ago. Daily driven, idles great etc. Probably overkill for my current set up (I think it saw 46% duty cycle on the dyno) but I never wanted to buy another set.

How Many power i can get with FIC 1100? I see a lot dyno result with 100% IDC and E85 with 500whp top... So i dont want to have the problem "your injectors are to small for your car" in the case i want a little bit more Of power in the future, if i have to spend a lot Of money for FIC 2150 and All here told me they will work Great on Pump gas ill do it

should be able to do 600whp on gas (like racegas) on 1100's. people max the injectors faster on E85 because it takes more volume for E85 then gas

Fics 2150s as well as id2000s are perfectly controlled by the AEM series 2, on pump and for a street car, driveability and linear control on very low pulses are quite acceptable and perfect for the application, there are lots of people in the states running them, as well as the new precisions 2000 ccs ones, but, we have witnesses and heard/read on the web some problems with leaning the mixture out after the fuel is heated by the engine, as happened with the id1600s that are now discontinued, maybe is just related on MTBE based fuels concentrations, detergents wich vary from country to country, the venezuelan experience on our fuel on a true street car with both fics and ids 2150 and 2200 is that after 2 to 3 hours of traffic and then you go wot you´ll be a full point from desired AFR leaner, so if you buy them, you may be asking for troubles, and its a lot of money for such injectors... we have made 600 whps on race gas on 1100fics!! so you go figure what you want on your evo 5 Sir!, we think its enough and have proven perfect consistency after fuel heating...

The ones to order are the FIC 1100s 1100cc FIC Mitsubishi DSM or EVO 8/9 Injector Set (High-Z)
