Daniel bought this Evo 8 from another customer of ours that already had a fair amount done. A built 2.3, worked head, and an FP Red. The car made 420 on pump fairly easy but was never pushed past that.
When Daniel got the car he knew he needed more in order to make it fun like his Eclipse has been. So adding a larger fuel pump and some larger Fuel Injector Clinic injectors we went for some E85 time.
Mods-
ER 2.3L
Eagle 100mm crank
Eagle 150mm rods
Bushmaster ported head
Stock Intake manifold
ER EGR delete
ETS 4" Intercooler kit
Fuel Injector clinic 1100cc Hi Z injectors
Single in tank Walbro 485
Muse O2 dump
3" exhaust
Omni 4 bar
ER SD tune
ER SD Intake
The 450 didnt seem to be letting off but I was definitely nearing the end of the 1100s with the ethanol so we stopped at 31psi and the 519/494. After spending some time getting used to it Daniel plans on more injector and a larger turbo to have even more fun.

Nice build! At 31psi how much would you say this turbo is being pushed?? I've seen a few threads with FP Reds making some serious power but I always ask myself how long will they last making 600 plus horsepower? I've got a brand new single scroll that is on my new 2.3l (just fired it up the other day) and I'm super excited to see what it does.

Depends on the exhaust housing. Twin scroll? It'll get some push back and the boost will drop off. Going to a single scroll will alleviate this issue but IMHO defeats the purpose of a bolt on turbo so may as well go with a 35R style HTA at that point and get some MAJOR power.
