THe JB HTZ Green is $1099. The JB FP 57 is $1699 with an MHI housing. I like your rounding.

Are you sure you don't want to pay $3,000 for an HTZ BB Red with a Xona center section and a ported to hell hotside with all the coatings? LOLOL

I don't think I'm a big bang for the buck guy. I'm a "Here, take my money kinda guy"
i dont get why you're giving the guy a hard time...

as a sponsor id expect more from you

Trying to have a discussion. And the post you quoted I was joking around (and I was being self-deprecating regarding how much I spent on my silly turbo). So, I'm not sure where you're coming from.

Regardless, I'm glad he posted his results and he seems happy with his choice.

Yep rated the same as the new green and your 3b. Just all differ on the turbine/Hotside of course.

hes a ***** that doesnt do anything but hate on the ss housing turbo. he needs to get a life, heaven forbid someone wants something different than he does. I have a ss green and for the 1000 i paid its amazing, and if it takes a $1600+ turbo to be an improvement, im even happier.

Just a warning... Your VD graphs look very similar to what I was doing with an MHI 73HTA and S3 cans before I broke a rod on my stock block. Since nobody has mentioned it I thought I would so you would be aware of pushing the torque with stock rods.

great thread nickelndime...awesome numbers!! i too bought my green hta on black friday ...seriously..for $999...i just cant complain. i am fabricator..so building a new downpipe/manifold etc was just material cost & time. at the time, the MHI variant was over (or around) $2k if i remember right ... nice to see it now available with the smaller tubine+mhi hot side for like $1.5k ...wish it was an option at the time i bough my HTA... but oh well...like i said..honestly cant complain a whole lot..

Thanks! The SS housing isn't everyone's cup of tea but there isn't a ton of results out there about it so maybe it'll help a few that may be interested in it.

I know what you mean, during that time MHI turbos were nearly 2k in journal bearing form, that's the main reason I chose to give this turbo a try. I also agree, the new small turbine Mhi green seems like a nice option for those in the market right now. Hopefully results of the new Fp 54 Green will start popping up soon

Those are great numbers. Do you have a link? I'd like to see the graph, especially interested to see one on a stroker.
