Does the turbo make noise or are the wheels touching the housings? If no, the turbo is fine. I would toss a stock, or FP, manifold on it and see what happens.

Is there a way to lay one boost line over the other in evoscan logs to compare?
thanks!

sorry for the delay on things. I'm doing a roll center correction kit and cant get the bolt loose for the front lower control arm. I'm sure my bolt is seized to the sleeve.. trying a few things before I cut a hole in the subframe.. such a pain in the ***.

You can put multiple logs into Virtual dyno. Or just look at them, and compare where they hit 20 psi, and then where they hit peak boost.

Whats up with manifolds? This is the third post Ive seen about people trying to explain their way via manifolds. What am I missing? Is someone on a kick?

I finally got it changed around and logs of both, looks to me like the stock mani hits 20psi by 4k and 27 by 4500 and the custom job does 20psi by 4200 and 27 at 4900. My evo-scan skills are limited so if someone could over lay them to show the difference that would be awesome.

i added two of each

20psi a 4k and 27 at 4500 is about where it should be.

Picked up a new fp manifold and going back to the rollers this coming Monday to hopefully find a little more power and bring the boost up to 32psi.

Fp manifold is proven and works well. Do you have everything else to max out your fuel system? That turbo can make well over 600whp if needed. Pump, injectors, actuator, boost leak test done etc.. Develop a check list and the results should be good.
If the turbo has any creep issues you may want to port the WG entry when its off.
FWIW My Forge 18psi actuator wasn't strong enough over 30psi to stay closed even with more duty cycle. If you move to a 25psi unit it will make whatever you need but may be too much for pump gas on the spike.

On rs motors mustang dyno the most they see out of a maxed out red on a 2.0 is about 460. They giggled when I said I was hoping for 500. So there is no way it would do over 600. Maybe on a 2.4l, ss housing and a dynojet.

I don't really care about the number I just know it has more left in it and I wouldn't feel right with the car not meeting its potential.

Mustang dynos.
Depends on how its set. If a stock car makes 250whp on that setting then it should line up with a dynojet. "should" Whatever the numbers end up being it will be a fun car.

In any case, 500whp dynojet at 28-30psi is easy with tuning keeping TQ at 400. If you can bring the boost up after 6000 (As TQ drops) you can make what it will make.
