BUMP

I also need some work done on my Evo 9 MR, I need a new clutch, I'm running stock turbo 361/375 om 93. Looking for a reliable shop in Orlando or Tampa Bay to install clutch replacement. Is Ostar Motorsports reliable?

You can hit up Full Detail Automotive in Tampa. They specialize in RX-7s, but I know the owner has worked on Evo's as well.

I know this is an old post, but just an update. Stay away from Kings performance, there total liars and thieves. The short story is they had my car for 2 weeks, put over 450 miles on it, broke a bunch of stuff on the car, didn’t fix what I sent it to them for, then charged me 300 dollars. There’s a lot more to this and have the emails and pics prove what I’m saying is true.

Desmond at PD seems to be very knowledgeable and experienced with the evo platform, a lot of people swear by him. I have considered him for when I am ready to be tuned but after a brief convo with him idk anymore I may pass on him. Im not a fan of his tuning philosophy. He told me "I dont like to let the turbo eat below 4k rpm" when I asked about spool on a cars he was tuning with stock and FP Green sized turbos. If you look at the cars he has tuned on his IG you will notice they all have Honda looking powerbands where he is leaving way tooo much low end torque on the table. Just something to consider.

Sergio is a very good tuner and a record holder

Desmond uses way too much boost on pump
