Checks out. My evos been down for a year because he put 33psi to a stock evo 9 turbo on my 8 after I told him I wanted a conservative tune I could daily. Never going back. Literally made 4 pulls and it hasn’t been the same since and leans out in boost.
100% stay away from Desmond at Performance Destination. He appears to have good reviews online but it's all a facade. He coerces you into leaving him a good review but then if you ever need any help he gets defensive, blames you, blames your car, and it's your problem because he thinks he is the GOD of tuning. Don't take my word for it, find other Evo owners in the community and ask them yourself whether it's a DM or in real life so you can speak candidly. Most people in the scene don't like being publicly negative towards small businesses so they stay quiet. But you'll be saving yourself thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars in preventing damage he'll do to your car by not going to PD. Desmond ruined an Evo I had so I just hope to raise awareness so folks don't get ripped off like I did.
Quick follow-up, Desmond just sent me a text threatening legal action for posting my honest experience and review. Screenshot attached. Truly fantastic customer service that you can expect by choosing "performance destination".
You should check out the ECUflash/EvOscan Support group on FB about Performance Destination. Look at the comments about his timing maps. They were not good.
