'06 Evo IX MR, Full bolt ons, 91oct

186k miles, 2006 Evo IX MR, daily driver in mind.
355whp, 300 ft/lbs, 20lbs tapering to 16.
Bottom End: Mahle 9:1 pistons, Crower Rods, ARP Heads and Mains, ACL race bearings
Head: Curt Brown ported head, HKS 264s, CB ported IM/ 65mm TB
Intake: Mishimoto UICP/LICP, samco intake + Blox filter
Exhaust: DNP housing, Invidia DP, Vibrant ultra quiet testpipe, Tanabe touring medalion.
Fuel: ID1000s, Radium fuel rail w/FPD-R, SARD FPR, walbro 255lph

That is low boost even if you had an OEM motor.

Turn it up and enjoy more torque.

I like the sentiment, but this was done with efficiency and reliability in mind. Besides the gf doesn't need a rocket to get to and from work.

Didn't realize it was a built block..... understand the reliability concern, so nice numbers : )

Curious, what did u guys do to improve the efficiency? mech or thermal?

Yes it will be. I'll be replacing a tsx that's getting up there in mileage that I don't feel like putting anymore money into. I have a truck I drive everyday so naturally this will go to the gf.

I upped compression to from 8.8 to 9.5 and the head is ported by curt brown. My goal was only 300-330whp at or below factory boost. I figure less boost will help increase reliability. I would've liked to go with e85 but selective availability is hard to ignore.
