Just got dyno tuned results
Just got tuned by Horsepower Logic in Royal Palm beach, FL and
wanted to share my results.
400awhp and 303tq @20psi and 93 octane on a mustang dyno. Their dyno is pretty strict considering they had a brand new 370z on right before me rated at 350 hp @ flywheel put down 276 to the wheels.
Overall pretty pleased with results, factoring mustang dyno and drivetrain loss, engine is probably making close to 500 hp.
Engine Mod List:
Gsc S1 cams
PTE 5858 turbo
1000cc injectors and walbro 400 pump
AEM v2
toxic fab exhaust manifold
intercooler, downpipe and exhaust

Yeah I would leave it alone seeing you build up a lot of heat during those type of events with longer runs, if it was 1/4 mile or roll racing that’s another story . Also when doing road course events it wouldn’t hurt to add a little 100 octane unleaded in there to help too. Enjoy man!

Why only 20 psi? 93 octane should handle at least 26 psi. Did you run out of fuel? Did you have your fuel pump rewired? By lowering boost, your pump can flow more volume. Your 1000cc injectors needs more pressure to spray more fuel. On the flip side, your fuel pump flows less with more pressure. You probably can make a lot more power if you have more fuel. Ask your tuner what your max injector duty cycle was when boosting 20 psi.

OP already mentioned that it's tuned for road coarse and not drag. Need to keep cylinder temps in check .

Why was dyno run starting at 4000rpm? I wonder if this turbo can still be in its efficiency range with higher boost levels. My HTA71 is smaller and it's most efficient (from my reading) at 24 psi. With bigger blades, I would assume it can do higher boosts with much less heat. Is this turbo even within its efficiency range hitting 20 psi?
Don't get me wrong, that is amazing power at only 20 psi!
