What rods will you be running? The reason I ask is once you get over 800hp with steel rods it becomes paramount that the tune is perfect. If not, you will have issues like you just had, rod bearing failures. I like too see 625 bolts instead of the arp2000’s above 800 also. Just a thought.
That plug you burnt up was most certainly preignition, was it on the same cylinder you had the rod failure? #4?

decided to stick with turbo tuff rods. Was going to go aluminum rod but after some research I think the steel rods are going to best suit my needs. And no the rod spun bearing on cylinder 2 I was told.

Badass man. That was quick. They must keep their custom pistons on the shelf.

What they explained to me is that they now use manley pistons. He said they the specs on them are now equivalent to the JE custom pistons they used in the past - but are available “off the shelf”. At least if I understood correctly that is.

UhOh he’s got the block o-ringed, this means only one thing...BIG POWER!
How much did they charge for the o-ring job? Is it a double groove o-ring setup with receiver groove?
Whats your HP goal?

Cheers, Steveo
