2.3L Stroker GSC s3 Cams SD Issues [HELP!]

Hi all,

Ive been pulling my hair getting started with tuning my evo. I am quite a novice when it comes to tuning but have read a lot over the years and have recently read a ton about getting SD dialed in. I understand the concept to a degree and have worked hard to this point to try to tackle it without asking questions but I am frustrated at this point. I have worked using the 2d speed density tables and also using the 3d tables. My main issues (among being a noob) is that I can not get idle and tip in fueling setup properly. It seems that the issue is that I may be setting my VE/RPM table too low to compensate for the fueling at idle. when I set the rpm tables to properly allow the car to idle with acceptable fuel trims I have issues with tip in and reving the car. It blips and goes lean (sometimes even stalls if I dont ease into throttle) I am not 100% sure what I should be doing to correct this. I would love some feedback from anyone who has a recommendation. If anyone wanted to post up their SD tables for me to reference that may have similar mods I would be super grateful. I did setup my injectors with the proper scalings per Scheides info provided. The car was previously tuned on speed density with this setup but it seems that the rom was not setup properly. the IAT was not detected in the rom and the rear o2 wasnt enabled causing the car not to update fuel trims. I fixed those issues and copied everything over to a fresh rom (had to to remedy). After doing so was when I ran into these issues. The fuel trims were far off at idle which lead me down the path I am now. I uploaded my rom as well for what its worth.

Here is a screenshot of my current 2d tables. I am on a Map EF2.5 turbo, Built 2.3 with GSC s3 cams. Omni 4 bar, GM IAT, FIC 1050s

Any advice is appreciated.

What are your fuel trims now?

I'm assuming the car was too rich, but you've got both SD tables pulling fuel at idle. I would bump the map sensor VE at 41.1 to match at least.

What is idle speed? The fuel map is rich around 500 rpm and comes back up at 1000. I would flatten that out.

My fuel trims seem to be good with the current settings in place. However as soon as I try to rev while at idle it goes very lean to the point it stumbles and even dies occasionally. I'll review the things you mentioned. My idle sits right around 1000 currently.
