So I just recently had my car on the dyno at a shop that will not be named. I can go deep in depth about what’s been installed or done but in sum, FIC 2150’s, HX52 turbo, built bottom end, light head work, Haltech 1500.
tuner had it doing wastegate pulls at about 27-29 psi and only made it to the second pull when the car leaned out like crazy and melted to spark plugs. I was told two injectors leaned at once and melted #3 and #4 cylinder SP.
I was also told after the tune a comp test was done and showed 2 cylinders with low compression. 🤬
These injectors were brand new direct from FIC, fresh out of the box prior to install aka no fuel had been through them since they were tested in the factory with flying colors. Does this sound like a tuning problem or did I just get unlucky and have two injectors fail at the same time on the same pull.
im clueless when it comes to reading tuning graphs but any input would be so helpful. Let me know if any other variable sticks out. Both fried plugs Graph tuner supplied me.
