Has anyone had this experience?

I brought a 27301-23400 coil to run COP yesterday.
The one I had had 3 pins, so I used this coil.
Maybe there's a problem with the coil...My vehicle is EVO7 right-hand drive.
The wiring diagram was for a left-hand drive vehicle, but
Only the explosion and power ground triggers of 1-4-3-2 were carefully selected and connected
I could only crank, but I couldn't fire. I returned to the original coil and cranked it, but only the starter worked hard and did not explode.
After a few minutes, smoke came out of the coil. When I touched it was very hot.
Does anyone know where it went wrong?

Seems like mixed up wiring to the coils if i was guessing. I would have expected a fuse to pop though.

If the coil is constantly energized it will only create so much magnetic field. The spark is made when the current flow stops, so the magnetic field can collapse.

If the current is maintained longer than the magnetic field needs to saturate - only heat is made. It sounds like this is what happened.

It seems that the 10A fuse in fuse box under the driver's seat was raised to a 15A fuse and then cranked, causing direct damage to the ECU. When measuring the resistance, 1-4 ignition OL 2-3 ignition measured 30 ohms.
thank you for your help

I think I checked the wiring diagram for the wrong coil. Thank you so much for your help.

The crank angle sensor is installed correctly and I can clearly smell the oil from the muffler.
