Great work Man. I have done several big installs on my cars in the past and you are doing a great job. I can not wait till it is done to see the final pics. I have a little job of my own going it involves my evo and 2 12 inch solos and 3 PPi amps. Aslo where can I get some of those brush gromets? I need some for my install too.

Woah. It's been a month since I last posted! Well, I just got back from a two week vacation in China, and I've done a little bit of work so I'll post an update soon.
I bought the brush grommets from http://www.mcmaster.com/ Do a search for brush grommets, they're on page 3542 w/ the Military Specification Rubber Grommets.

Been kinda busy recently helping out w/ my sister's wedding this Saturday. Sorry George.
I did this stuff a couple days ago.
Crimped and soldered the speaker connections to the main amp.
Labeled too so there's no confusion.
This is mainly for George, if he ever needs to take the amprack out for some reason.
Here's how the amprack is locked to the sub box.
The amprack has guides on it to help it slide onto the sub box.
Which helps line up the latch.
Then there's a hole that I'm going to run a zip tie through (I used a wire for this pic though).
I painted a border once on the plexi, but I didn't like how it looked, so I masked it off again.
Put on a couple more coats.
Up next should be the installation of the amprack

So the Russian came over today to work on George's car, so I decided to work on it, too.
We needed to drain the gas since it had been sitting in the car for months, so we connected some wires to the fuel pump.
We tried siphoning it first, but since it was barely below the gas tank, it was going really slow. The wires come out the door and are connected to a hobby 12v power supply.
So the amprack is finally finished, front and back. I've added RCAs and the speaker wires here. Hopefully this is the last time it's outside the car!
Here's the first time the completed amprack is in the car.
Connected the speaker wires, data cables, and optical cables. The bend for the white optical cable is a little tight and I'm a little worried about it.
Laid the amprack down flat to clean up some wires, and attach others.
Secured in place. Left and right side from inside the car.
Couldn't resist to see how it look complete so I put the cover on
Have to finish some things up next. Also, we have to get the car running again. The Russian changed the oil while I was working on the amp rack.
