I think he meant the total weight of the new chromoly setup was 6 lbs...I would imagine what's in the picture weighs a good bit more then 6 lbs...I think the OEM center member weighs like 7 lbs by itself...

Correct, my entire chromoly setup is 6 lbs Dan. I believe the center cross member is 9lbs.

What I deleted is way heavier

i wont cut my car like that. i just wondered why its done and the amount of weight saved. the center cross bar i have is the light weight version. so i dont see there being more then another 10lbs.

Mostwanted reported that he saved 80lbs from the core support. It is close that's for sure.

Mine was already damaged from an accident the previous owner had so i'm glad to get it out of here. **** ton of weight saved from the front end that's for sure

It is currently unfinished (coating wise). I'm going to pretty it up with some POR-15 this weekend so its nice glossy black. We also made our own front motor mount that comes right off the core support. Even without the front mount, the motor won't move (I jacked up the motor from the front motor mount bracket, and the car moved - not the motor ) My other 3 mounts are from Torque Solutions.

Also added a diy quick release for the front bumper. (Same concept as the toxic fab kit) (No weight savings here... lol sorry Dan)
