06 Evo Rs install surgestions

Need help with what to install, I'll be needing a head unit, speakers and a CD Changer..prefer something that is sattelite ready, also probably a Ipod hook up as well.

Thanks

just for basic suggestions:
new pioneer 7800mp is pretty good and wont break the bank to bad and its both satelite, ipod and changer ready.
infinity reference speakers are cheap and decent

if you want bad ***......well ****, theres so many:

my suggestion:
Pioneer Premier p880prs
Pioneer Prs Series speakers
Alpine PDX amplifiers
(my new setup, and loving it btw)

of course others will swear by other brands......but its all about what you want of course. cant go wrong either way. go big or go home right?

^ yeah I would suggest alpine f#1 status..but thats just insane. You have to be a REAL audiphile and know the differences your listining for in a ~$20k alpine system. LOL

personally, i think it goes beyond the essence of an RS to get a full radio system, unless you want to go heavy investment in security w/ pwr d/l, windows, etc.

i'd recommend getting the stock radio ($50 or so), then throw in some speakers ($100). with the lack of sound proofing from the trunk, you're gonna need a crapload of dynomat and stuff to overcome the noise for a nice sound system....jmho

Get what you want but try a highend Eclipse headunit! It is the best, with such clarity.

Anyways, on my RS I have Eclipse 8xxx headunit mated to delphi XM tuner all connected to two separate amps, JL audio component speakers ( a MUST!!!) and 12" alpine sub.

Basic but cranks clean when you need that escape!

Install them yourself and enjoy the experience...
