I have a small enclosure for a 10" sub, and i need a better mounting solution. I was using these small L brackets with screws to ancor it into the very small wood that is covering the spare tire, but overtime the screws have worked loose due to the crappy wood that they are ancored into.

Any solutions? how did you mount your sub box?

i would get some 1/2" wood, cut a small sheet to go UNDER the factory carpet/thin wood..and screw into that.
