OBDII Drive cycle

I have been looking for ages for the Drive cycle process for the mitsubishi cars. I found some for the earlier 95-99 DSM's and it was pretty complicated.

I've found a generic one:

* Start the engine. Idle the engine in drive for two and a half minutes with the A/C and rear defroster on.
* Turn the A/C and rear defrost off, and accelerate to 55 mph at half throttle.
* Hold at a steady speed of 55 mph for three minutes.
* Decelerate (coast down) to 20 mph without braking or depressing the clutch.
* Accelerate back to 55 to 60 mph at ¾ throttle.
* Hold at a steady speed of 55 to 60 mph for five minutes.
* Decelerate (coast down) to a stop without braking.

Long story short, got a CEL and was trying to get image using ECUflash. The light reset itself for some reason. We went through the readiness anyways, and went to the inspection station a day later.

Everything passed, EXCEPT for the O2sensor and Cat did not pass the "readiness" It seems that we missed something here. If anyone knows the proper cycle to get this done I would appreciate it. Sure, most people are saying "drive the car really hard, or drive for 50 miles" I KNOW that there is a set amount of driving to pass a drive cycle readiness for the OBDII, how do I find this out for the Evo7-9? (This particular car is actually an Evo7).

Most drive cycle for non-continous monitors, ie cat o2s egr are a two drive cycle event. most of these monitors will only run once a day or after a 8 hr cool down period. If you see the monitors are not setting, there could be a problem the o2 and the cat will not run til the monitor for the o2 runs.

So you're saying that the car itself is going to record the cool down period? I never new the ECU was even running.
