Finally! An OEM ipod adapter!
I just installed my adapter yesterday and I love it. I didn't wanna get an aftermarket headunit because I have gotten mine stolen a few times and I got sick of it. So I prefer rolling in stock radio, tryna lay low here.
its a POS...south coast mitsu installed one for me...it was soo hard to control it with the stock head unit since all the stock headunit shows is numbers..
i got sick of it and installed a sweet alpine headunit that was acually alot cheaper than the OEM set up and looks and sounds 10x's better, you can acually scroll through the artists/songs through the head unit unlike the OEM unit

Does all Evo OEM HU come with changer control?
Hey... I just got one of these but might return it now that I know it only shows track numbers and not artist names/song names....
What do you guys think? Control the artists through the ipod or get an aftermarket HU?

I went with an Alpine with fullspeed ipod connection after reading all of the disgruntled posts about the OEM ipod adapter.... and for $40 more, and a better sounding system why wouldn't you....
i dont have a picture however im pretty sure there is nothing to see. its a cable that attaches to the stock head unit which then connects to a little box and then has another cable on the other end that attaches to your ipod. Therefore everything is stealth behind your dash
