I just installed my adapter yesterday and I love it. I didn't wanna get an aftermarket headunit because I have gotten mine stolen a few times and I got sick of it. So I prefer rolling in stock radio, tryna lay low here.

i had a few issues with the intial use myself, but once you get the hang of it no problems scrolling through artists and songs. Bought mine from 500whp

Do you control the scrolling throught the HU? I know someone else said the interface wasn't user friendly. Can you describe the interface a little?

Wanna sell yours to me?

Does all Evo OEM HU come with changer control?

I thought it was meant to use the ipod controls to control it anyways.

What do you press to select it as the source?

Hey... I just got one of these but might return it now that I know it only shows track numbers and not artist names/song names....

What do you guys think? Control the artists through the ipod or get an aftermarket HU?

Get aftermarket for sure. It's the same price, but you will be way happier, especially if you plan to upgrade other components later (ie. speakers, subs)

I went with an Alpine with fullspeed ipod connection after reading all of the disgruntled posts about the OEM ipod adapter.... and for $40 more, and a better sounding system why wouldn't you....

i dont have a picture however im pretty sure there is nothing to see. its a cable that attaches to the stock head unit which then connects to a little box and then has another cable on the other end that attaches to your ipod. Therefore everything is stealth behind your dash
