oh so its not really noticeable? i like that. i was going to go with a new head unit but this might be even better. I want to keep it as low key as possible.

 

well im not 100 percent positive because i havent personally dealt with it. In the end its going to be as hidden as you make it.

 

obvisously sounds like its crap. as for the pioneer link it was also a POS. i had it in my car for no longer then about a day or two i went back to the old way of hooking it up. aftermarket head unit with the auxilary output in the back and just plugging it into the headphone jack. the music sounds crisp and enjoyable to me and you control everything through the ipod.

 

Alpine ida series is the way to go for ipod control.

 

Very true. I was thinking about buying the factory oem ipod adapter as well but then I just decided to get a new HU instead and got the Alpine IDA X100.

 

Or the Alpine CDA-9887...both the IDA and this one will have fantastic iPod control with audio quality FAR exceeding the POS OEM setup.
