Good find. My aero kit isn't sagging though like some of the ones I've seen. I guess it's nothing but 3M adhesive for the area that meets up with the kit and body. At least Mitsu noticed it's a problem.

If its like the front lip then yes you have to take it off and clean off the old 3m tape really really good. Then once you put it back it will be good as new. Been there done that to my front rubber lip.

my passenger side is sagging a little maybe a cm, doesn't bother me much. from the looks of the sideskirt you would need to drill out the rivet to take the skirt off. maybe i'm wrong.

Yes you have to remove the sideskirt, as you can see from the related TSB-08-66-001 to solve this well-known problem:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BDMM0HSX

Hope it can be useful.

I have this problem on the passenger side sideskirt but at the moment the gap is not excessive, so for now I let it as it is. I will see if the job described in the TSB will be necessary.

Bye

I just got a dealership to bring this is in. I live in Canada so its just easier for me to get some parts through the dealership instead of ordering them.

The gentleman I spoke to was unaware of this part, instead thing they just had the Front Lip Spoiler repair kit. After notifying him of the TSB #/Part # I got him to get me one.

If I had the time out of town to get them to fix this under warranty I would but I see they need to take pictures etc. That is too time constraining when Im already out of town from the dealer ship.

The dealer lost/didn't install one of the end clips on my skirt so it has always stuck out a bit. One of these days I have to get a clip to fix it. The dealer that I bought the car from is 250 miles away so they aren't going to take care of it.
