Question Carbon Fiber wing

The carbon fiber on my wing is fading to a white color like the clear coat is coming off. Has this happened to anyone else and if so how did you fix it? Any advice will be a big help. Thanks. Eric

My car is not under warranty and I have tried to get them to do in but they told me that since it is not under warranty they would not do it. Do you have any other suggestions?

there is a huge thread in evo show and shine about this... A guy takes them and re-clears them. many happy customers in the thread and he has pics of before and after. do a quick search.

MMm, I thought the same thing, I have an 05, don't know how long the clear coat will last on my wing, hopefully a few more yrs. I'm planning on going wingless, maybe.

My 05 was doing the same thing and come to find out there was a recall on some of the wings. Something about the type of clear that they used, anyway they repalced it. They did try to give me the Evo 9 wing but I insisted on getting what was on my car from the factory so they gave me the Evo 8 wing. I think that it is like $1200 from the factory.
