I like the idea. I think the paint looks a little messy - I prefer a matte finish. I think I'd also probably want it pointed a little towards me too.

That's a thought for when i get more time to play with it. It would also have to be something i would need to learn as i have never done that.

One of the things i love about being DIY'er

I am not loven the gauge as much as the ralliart dash hazard button. But very innovative.

I know autometer sells those small angle rings for the gauge. Might look with a slight angle of your choice..

with that hazard light out you can put many things in the hazrd button spot. a boost controller knob... etc.

Today was pretty sunny so i finally had a chance to see what it's like. It wasn't bad at all. There is some glare but you can still see the gauge and the readings. Overall i'm satisfied and no complaints!

looks good are you planning to use fiberglass to make it more flush or angle it more towards the driver?

I have been trying to find someone to custom mold me the piece for the vents and the gauge. I have no experience with fiberglass so i'm not even sure on where to start if i were to pursue that path.

The angle however is fine where it is....i can see it perfectly fine during the day and night. I don't exactly stare at it all the time....and the unit beeps when i reach a certain boost level....

I would love a more integrated look....will possibly pursue the fiberglass idea as a winter project.
