Air/Fuel Ratio on a 9?

I did a search and didn't spot a tread for this, so sorry if this is a repeat. I have an AutoMeter Air/Fuel ratio gauge that I want to install on my 9, along with boost and oil pressure. I have what I think is an accurate ECU diagram and I need some help verifying the proper pin connection for this sensor. I am not installing a new sensor, even though I understand that the computer will process information too quickly for this gauge to comprehend, thus resulting in a sweeping motion on the gauge. I had this on my Corvette, and the only time that I really care for accuracy of this gauge is when the car is at full throttle. This worked great for the 'Vette and I hope it'll go well for this.
Thanks

All that guage does is read ur stock o2 sensor. It is worthless as a tuning tool ans is just a blinking light show. the only thing it could be good for is diagnosis of a bad front o2 sensor. All ur have to do is find the front o2 wire pin. I dont know about EVOs but DSMs had a spade teminal by the passenger kick panel that was just an output for the o2. Perfect for the narrow band o2 sensors.

I woudl also like to *** that the swing of the o2 during idle and part throttle is normal and that at WOT the sensor will show a steady reading in hundreths of a volt. if that is notht ecause and the sensor sticks at idle of cruise then the sensor is bad or damaged.

Thanks for the info, so far. I understand that the light show comment, however I don't want to spend $500+ on a diagnostic sensor. I'll check the o2 pin.

You can get a AEM wideband online for like $250 and it will actually give you probably the most valuable information a gauge in an evo can give you.
