Pioneer AVIC-Z1 + Orbital Double Din

Was in middle of installing the z1 to my evo 9 and got kind of stuck

I have the upgraded oem speakers(Infinity)

there was a wire where the end was a shape of a dime and it came out from my stock cd player.

when i put the new navi in, with the harness, i hooked up everything including the vss, ebrake, bluetooth, rear light, speakers, etc. but i could not find a hole where i could fit the dime shape plug from my oem subs.

when i tried without that plugged in, the navi works great but with absolutly no sound.

am i supposed to buy a piece that fits that plug to the back somehow? can anyone help?

thanks

That wire is what ALL of your SPEAKERS run through from the amp(Not just the sub). That's why you get no sound. You need to get an adapter that plugs into that wire/plug which then splits into RCA jacks for the back of your new unit. Good Luck.

I believe this is what you need:

No Problem The one for the Lancer will work for you. It worked for my Pioneer Headunit.

Question alright

ill take the pics of my finished navi tonight!, i just finished. one small problem though.. it seems that i have lots of gain. as if the output is so strong that my speakers cant take it?

when the navi is on, i hear a psssssssssssssssssss in the back ground. when i put the volume to like 5, its already LOUD! and it goes to like 40.

did i make a mistake on the wiring?

some kind of system setting that i cant figure out???

i basically bought the harness that connected the infinity speakers to the navi. i spliced the black and red wire to plus and minus in front left front right back left and back right.
