Looks good, interested in getting one myself... Have you tried taking a picture of it with a digital camera while its on (the laser blocker not the camera)? If it emits UV (its UV right?) you should be able to see it with a digital camera... try it with a TV remote control if you don’t believe me.

blinder m20

I have a Blinder myself and I wanted to put it behind the mesh also. I called Blinder and asked if it was ok to do so. I was told DO NOT put it behind the mesh.

I've had my eye on this unit for a while. I want to know if its worth the money (DOES IT WORK!?). My county area uses laser exclusivly on the highways, nothing else, so if i had this on my car, assuming it works, i would easily beat the system.

There is a wire on the jammer for audio interrupt, and my Alpine has an audio interrupt wire as well. Real simple Not sure if the stock radio has an interrupt or not.

Anyways, to reiterate, the idea here is to:

A) Prevent the initial speed reading from being obtained
B) Alert me when I am being hit so I can slow down
C) Turn off the jammer so the gun acquires a safe speed

Obviously, if I fly by a speed trap at 90mph, they will pull me over regardless of if their laser gun works or not.

You could probably wire up a relay to interupt the turn on wire to the stock radio.

So have you been hit with laser since you've installed this?

Very nice car and interior setup btw. your front jammer heads cannot behind the mesh and they are too far back to protect anything. If a leo shoots your license plate first because they are trained to, that leo with a lidar gun (not a laser tester) will get instance punch through and if your speeding you will get busted. Basically your not protected with your current set up. Hopefully there is someone in your area that owns a lidar gun for testing. That laser tester only sets off your laser jammer but is not a effective way to see if your blinder is really working.
