Hella 3th brake-light L.E.D.

I've got a new 3th brake-light, but i'm not sure where i will put it.

I've thought about removing the original brake-light and install it there, or install it at the top of the window?

This is the light

Hella 16-leds

very nice! I've been looking for a solution like this, I don't like the stock 3rd brakelight. Could you PM me the link to where you purchased this piece?

Thanks very much

underneath the bottom of your wing! i always wished our 3rd was on the wing molded in the top l.e.d all the way across like you see in the custom truck scene

That's not an option.
It's meant to be glued on your window.

But i'm still not sure to glue it at the top of the window, or at the bottom. I will remove the stock-brake light regardless of where i'm going to put the new one.

I ordered it in a local car-shop here in Belgium. It's made by Hella.
I took a picture of the new Hella catalog 2007, you can see the brake-light and it's partnumer (the left one)

Do you think these rings will fit into the light-units?

So you have to glue it to the window? I guess this is not an option if you have tint. Or maybe just not a good idea with tint.

Yes it is glued to the window.
First i used the glue that was included, but could not wait till it was dry So after that i used superglue (dry within a few seconds)

If you have tint, maybe remove the tint where you have to glue it. It are only the 2 little plastics at the side that are glued.

with leds, there isnt much difference.. you could put those leds inside the rear lense, but its a lot of work for just a couple...
