Bondo and fiberglass

I'm building a custom fiberglass enclosure and the back is n't smooth. Can I bondo the back to make it smooth and fiberglass over the edges and stuff. Will it seperate or wil it be strong enough?

you use bondo as a filler. What i usualy do is mix half resin half bondo..and apply that, then apply any additional bondo if needed.

I want to add bondo to the back and sides of the enclosure and then finish fiberglassing the front (fleeced part) by wrapping the glass over edges where the bondo is. Will that be ok?

You need it to seal airtight. So yes.
