Ok, So i am in the process of installing a pioneer 6800 HU. I did all the harness and mitah connections and plugged everything in. Turned on the ignition. The HU works but no sound.....out of any speakers...checked the ground and all the wires. They all seem to be plugged in the right places.......what kind of stupid mistake did I make??? oh yea, it's a IX SSL

 

Check your PM.

 

I have an ssl 8....kind of hard to f- this up...check your connections first..did you get both ( yes-2) harnesses...One for the base wires in he head unit and the other for the speakers..Be sure you have them pushed all the way on..(rca jacks)

 

Just a thought...maybe you crossed the + and - cables on the harnesses.

 

Thanks All, I got it, informed by notec, just had the blue wire from the mitah misconnected, as simple as that, figured it would be....sound rocks, and Ipod functionality is great from this unit. Thanks guys!
