Laser Deceptor... Installed and Reviewed... With Pictures (56k... go away)

Hey All,

Well, one day I decided that I was tired of all of the speeding tickets I was receiving from Laser (even though I had a Escort Passport 8500 X50, we all know laser is nearly instant and impossible to slow down for.) And as every police agency is slowly switching to laser (lidar) guns... I knew it was only a matter of time until my next ticket. I began to look into Laser Jammers, and I found a product from the EvoM Username JTG. He is a US rep for all the sales in the USA. I purchased a three head jamming system from him, and well... it is amazing =). It came with all wiring, all brackets, all tape, all screws, and anything else imaginable you could need for the install. Definitely a great buy for the price ($275 for two head, $400 for the three head system).

On to the pictures:

Just in case you are pulled over:

Exterior:

Sorry about the pics of the 2008 Ford GT 500... My girlfriend's mom (don't ask) picked it up that day brand new. I got to drive it a bit, it is amazing. Here is an extra picture of it because i know you guys will ask for it:

Overall, I am very very happy with this jamming system because it actually works! I was driving down a road the other day and decided to test the jammer by driving 56 in a 35... in a speed trap area. Out of no where, my jammer went off with the alert inside the car, and I simply coasted to slow down (did not apply the brakes at all) and when i was about 50 feet from the cop (on a side street on the opposite side of the road), i switched the jammer off to allow the officer to get a read once i was at the speed limit. The cop never moved an inch... Not even with my bright red Evo with 500whp... with a AMS exhaust. I am stunned that I have full protection... It's nice to use protection guys come on now.

Definitely a great write up. I am getting the a few jammers for my friends in this next week and if any of you are interested in where to get one (I am in no way associated with him or working for him or receive commission) you can contact him here:

Damn . . . an actual laser jammer. I need a radar jammer, too. The central FL cops still use a lot of radar. Please PM me with info on the jammer.

Scotdw6.....

Radar Jammers do not work, i.e.> Rocky Mountain Radar or the same company just renamed...KAT Electronics is a scam. There is nothing in those POS units that is capable of jamming radar or laser.

Yes you are 100% correct. However, what I got was a LASER* (Lidar) Jammer, Not a Radar* Jammer. There is a very big difference.

If anyone is interested just drop me a PM and I will give you contact information or post here. Honestly it helps so much to know that you are fully protected. Even if you have a valentine or a decent to amazing radar detector, they will never provide you enough time to slow down as a Laser beam onto your car is near instant speed calculation for them. I realized this the hard way.

Ok, I'm blind. Where are the 'jammers' on the exterior pictures?

I guess that's a good sign that I can't spot em....

One thing to note- and I have not alot of experience, just heard this- if you don't have a front license plate, most cops won't hit you with lidar. The plate is their 'preferred' reflective surface.
I hope that wasn't the case for you though- laser is bad news

Even if you dont have a front lic. plate they still can target you. They go for the headlights.

How could you say that it work if you never had it tested, one cop on the side of road is not test at all, I would not suggest to buy something like that before it was tested professionally. And second cop can still follow you even if got no speed reading and stop you for careless driving as well so don't feel 100% confident

There are two under the hood lip and one on top of the rear license plate... the one in the rear is much more visible. And yes i am glad you cannot see them =)

This item has been tested professionally, thank you for assuming it was not. I would have never bought it if it wasn't, obviously.

And it has worked three other times since that first time... Why are you assuming it does not? Because all of the other brands, for the most part, are crap? And lastly, it is wreck less driving, not careless driving.
