I have heard some people voice consern with the quality of the orbital kit. Has anyone used the JDM 2 din opening and if so what did you do with the climate controls? Anyone buy the Orbital, use the JDM 2din opening and sell the Orbital opening? Just looking at options

JDM-parts.com, they are a vendor on here, I think it goes for $150ish

Well lets just start by saying that I was thinking the same way. So I brought the orbitial kit and I brought the jdm piece too. I figured that if I didnt want the orbitial head unit piece I had the jdm one. I got the orbitial kit first and I was waiting for the jdm piece to come. The jdm piece came and I was so mad it was not a replacement double din part it was an double din double sided tape picece that was an overlay so dont waste your money I think that after shipping and handling it came out to like 175.00.

 

Ahh man that sux! I got so excited when I started reading this thread and now it has gone down the toilet .
