Angle factory gauges towards driver. PICS

I did this today and it is very easy. I used a piece of 1 1/2 ABS pipe. Cut 1 end at a 90 and the other end at the angle you want the gauge to face. If you go too extreme the factory hole in the panel will have to be filed and the brackets that hold the gauge may not work. You put the gauge into the pipe on the 90 degree end and the angled end toward the factory panel. You will have to cut or bend 1 tab on the bracket that holds the gauge. You can spin the piece of pipe to point the gauge in the direction you want and then tighten it up. Reinstall it in the dash and see your gauges better. Here are some pictures.

good idea... doesnt look good... and the factory gauges are almost worthless. just my .02

Agreed...But yes a good idea for sure since glancing at the OE gauge placement is downright dangerous while driving.
