Ahhh, the Ex-S Deep Striker! Is that a MG kit, or Fix configuration? I've got to ask where you got that. Awesome stuff BTW --- I've also crossed genres from giant robots to Evo's --- must be the culture!

That is a resin 1/100 conversion kit from G-System. About a meter long...one of the holy grails of Gundam modelling (along with the twin tower: http://www.g-system-shop.com/cp-zlk/...in_Tower/1.htm)

Check it:

http://www.g-system-shop.com/cp-zlk/...plan303e/1.htm

Their website has some other cool stuff too.

Wow. Those are some kick-**** kits! I love the 5 Star Stories headliners, but regrettably, I've never had the juevos to venture into the resin-kit realm.

Props to you, my man!

Back on topic...

Anyone know any major chain stores that sell thermal paste? I have to get some on the way home and I'm trying to avoid Fry's...

Plan on putting in a quality soundcard? Is there anyway you could get Kit's voice from Knightrider in there? I'm just kidding. This is very cool. At a minimum you need to get the red led strip for the front of the car.

Got the power issues mostly sorted out.

Windows XP is installed with all of the drivers.

Goes from OFF to desktop in about 13 seconds. Fast as hell! Will be even faster when I get the MTron SSD in there!

Gameplan for tonight is to get the screen running at 800X480. This will take a custom video driver (lots o' fun).

Then it's party, party, party all weekend, so project may stall due to hangover...
