compustar remote start alarm
compustar remote start alarm
from where i used to stay down south we had a law about the remote start in a manual transmission...im not sure up northwest (washington state) where i stay now..even with the new compustar...its say manual trans compatible...so and one got input on this..thanks
I use sell compustar, and the units for manual transmition is safe. You have to do this sequence when you get out of your vehicle to ensure that it is nutral and e-brake is on. It is actually pretty annoying not being able to start your car because you did not do it right.
But I have never had a customer have problems with them being unsafe.
As for the laws... I know it is legal to sell them in ND and MN.

i would say that if the install is performed correctly, you should not have any problems. It would be just like having a turbo timer....car in neutral, ebrake up and the car will keep running until the last door is shut.
but if you open one of those doors without remote starting the car and you will have to repeat the process all over.
